What makes this fabric special: This hand-woven fabric is not only the epitome of sustainability but also the motif tells a lovely story. If you look at the design you will notice two stick-like characters, head to head. These characters depict the marriage of a Lao prince to a Khmer princess. Surrounding them are symbols of blessings such as the snake head or 'naga'. These are the motifs that appeared on their wedding blanket. They have been reinterpreted by Soie de Lune in this expressive weave.
