Orchid Bloom; a complex brocade pattern woven on a silk warp, some using either a cotton and linen mix while others use just linen. The vibrant colors of tropical Laos form the basis of the fabric's coloring and are interspersed with neutrals. This very special fabric is a sustainably hand woven decorative piece for a special interior.

What makes this fabric special: One of the traditional heritage designs of Laos, both the Jasmine Blossom and the Orchid Bloom are flowers used at the temple and carry a special significance. These flowers, woven as fabric motifs form part of the spiritual well being of the Lao people. A constant reminder of the paramount importance nature plays in our lives.
